For the last 28 years, our team at Century Hotel has been committed to ensuring that our facility is a home away from home for our loyal guests. As a small, family-owned and operated hotel, we always want to ensure our guests feel welcome, safe and comfortable when they visit. Never before has that commitment been more important.

As we reopen our property, we are making every effort to go above and beyond our already high standards of cleanliness and sanitization to ensure your health and well-being when you stay with us. 

Our team has spent the past few months preparing our property for our guests’ return by completing deep cleanings and sanitization of the entire facility, as well as performing rigorous maintenance. We have also put into place new cleaning procedures, guest services and protocols to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all of our guests. We are strictly following all public health recommendations from Washington County, the Oregon Health Authority and the CDC and will continue to evolve our policies as new information becomes available. We have also partnered with Ecolab, a global leader in infection prevention, to elevate our already stringent sanitation protocols to the next level. Hospital grade disinfectants are being used for sanitation throughout our property.

Your health, safety and well-being have always been and continue to be our family’s highest priority. As we all adjust to this new normal, we will continue to communicate with our valued guests about our new policies, procedures and what you can expect when you stay with us.

Health & Safety

  • Robust and enhanced sanitization of all guest rooms, public areas and employee spaces with hospital grade disinfectant. Increased attention will be paid to high-touch areas in all public spaces such as elevator buttons, door handles, light switches, etc.

  • Guest rooms are heated/cooled via self-contained, individual HVAC units, eliminating concerns around central heating/air conditioning

  • Implementation of physical distancing layouts including six foot spacing floor markings and signage

  • Installation of acrylic partitions (“sneeze guards”) at front desk to safely separate guests from team members during check-in process

  • Hand sanitizer stations available throughout the property

  • Automated front doors at entrance and exit to property

Guest Experience

  • Check-in: A limited number of guests are allowed in the lobby at a time. Please observe directional signage and respect six foot social distancing guidelines

  • Housekeeping: Daily service is suspended. Additional housekeeping supplies and linens will be available upon request 

  • Check-out: Check-out will be contactless. Email address will be required at check-in and you will be emailed a copy of your receipt. You will not need to check out at the front desk upon departure

Staff Precautions

  • All team members trained in CDC guidelines, including proper hand-washing and hygiene

  • Team members will pass a health check prior to each shift, including temperature checks

  • Team members will wear face coverings as required by public health authorities 

Adjustments to Property Amenities

  • Self-service water and coffee service in lobby is temporarily suspended

  • Swimming pool and Whirlpool are now open to guests by appointment only!

  • Complimentary continental breakfast is available for pickup each morning in the Century Room

  • Pens, paper and area guides have been removed from each room and room service menus are replaced with a digital option

  • Our restaurant, Hayden’s Lakefront Grill, remains closed. We anticipate Hayden’s will reopen with limited capacity to ensure social distancing and the health and safety of our customers and our team in the coming weeks
